Created in 1963 to serve the needs of the Montreal Jewish Community. It's first Rosh Beth Din, Rav Pinchas Hirszprung was given the honor to lead the way in this most important and paramount role for any and all Jewish communites.
Since then the Montreal Beth Din has grown into one of the most well respected Batei Dinim in the world, representing all facets and denominations of Montreal's unique Jewish Community.
